2013: Was named team captain prior to the start of the season … finished the season with the team lead in digs with 329 … also finished third on the team with 27 service aces … collected 11 digs in her home debut against Medgar Evers (9/10) … followed that up with 15 digs and three service aces against Mass. Maritime (9/14) … had 13 digs and one kill in non-conference play against New Jersey City (9/21) … picked up 10 more digs and a season-best two kills against Sarah Lawrence (9/22) … began a streak of 14 consecutive matches with double-digits in regards to digs as she started with 12 against Pratt Institute (10/1) … had 20 digs against NYU-Poly in Skyline Conference play (10/5) … picked up another 20 digs and also had three assists against Yeshiva (10/13) … collected a season-best 30 digs at home against John Jay (10/22) … concluded her season with 15 digs against Saint Elizabeth (10/30).

2012: Saw time in 20 of the team’s 22 matches during her first season with the Privateers … led the team with 96 assists and was also fifth on the team with 97 digs … made her collegiate debut in non-conference action against Ramapo and picked up a kill and four digs (9/8) … collected four digs in back-to-back contests against Montclair State and Manhattanville (9/9) … had three kills and five digs against Yeshiva (9/12) … had a season-best three kills and 17 assists and also picked up eight digs against Mass. Maritime (9/16) … collected 10 assists against Sarah Lawrence (9/18) … had a season-high 13 digs in Skyline play against Yeshiva (10/11) … finished the season making the start and picking up four digs against Manhattanville (10/27).

High School: Graduated from Pittston Area High School in Yatesville, Pennsylvania … was the libero for the Patriot volleyball team … also played midfield for the soccer team and competed in several events for the swimming team.
 
Personal: Daughter of Careen and Shahrooz Pourmonir … has three siblings, Ariana, Keemiya and Evelynn … is majoring in Marine Environmental Science in the Meteorology and Oceanography tracks while at Maritime with plans of working for the government upon graduation.
