High School: Graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School in Point Pleasant Beach, N.J. in 2016 … was a member of the Garnet Gulls swimming team in high school … was a member of the two-time Monmouth County Championship team in 2015 and 2016 … was a team captain while in high school … is a co-holder of high school record for the 200 Medley Relay team … also swam for the Atlantic Club Riptides club swim team … also served as a swim coach for the Special Olympics Swim Team.
Personal: Son of Jenifer and John Durrua … has two sisters; Katie and Megan … is majoring in Marine Transportation while at Maritime and plans to obtain his U.S. Coast Guard Deck License.
