Kevin Ihde

Kevin Ihde will be entering his third season as an assistant coach for the Maritime College men’s ice hockey team in 2013-14. Ihde will be working with the offensive unit as well as the power play.

During the 2012-13 season he helped the Privateers to their first Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference Championship in team history, as well as their first bid in the ACHA Division III Regional and National Championship Tournament.
 
Ihde has a rich history in ice hockey as he has played hockey for over two decades while gaining experience playing for Brick Township Memorial High school as well as the travel team, the Red Bank Generals. He achieved success with both teams winning multiple conference championships and going to the New Jersey, high school and travel, state championships, finishing out his competitive playing career at Marist College.
 
He will be completing his final year in the International Transportation Management Graduate/License Program at Maritime College.

In addition to his work with the Maritime Ice Hockey team, Ihde works for the office of Housing and Residential Life as a Building Manager.
 
Originally from Brick, N.J., Ihde currently lives in Thoggs Neck, N.Y.
