Riesenberg Hall, which is located at the center of campus, is the of the Maritime College Athletic Department. The building is the home site for the women’s volleyball, men’s basketball, men's & women's swimming & diving teams.
The building features a gymnasium, a fully-equipped weight room and cardio room, a 6-lane, 25-yard swimming and diving aquatic center, three racquetball courts, multi-purpose rooms for classes and locker room space for teams, students, faculty and staff.
The building was dedicated to Felix Riesenberg on May 6, 1965. Riesenberg graduated from the precursor to Maritime College, the New York Nautical School, in 1897. He later served as superintendent of the Nautical School from 1917-19 and again from 1923-1924.
