2020: Started in all seven games for the Privateers and finished with a .435 batting average on 10 hits, 10 runs scored and five RBIs. He also stole four bases and finished with a 1.000 fielding percentage. His season was highlighted by going 3-4 with four runs scored and an RBI in the season opening win against Plattsburgh St.
2019: Started in 30 of 32 games played in and earned Second-Team All-Skyline honors.
He finished the year with a team-high .371 batting average and a team-high 30 runs scored. The sophomore second baseman was lethal on the base paths for the Privateers as he swiped 33 bases, which set the single-season program record. Eng's stolen bases per game mark also put him at the top of the NCAA Division III leaderboard. His total stolen bases for the season were good enough for seventh overall. His season was highlighted by the final regular season doubleheader against Purchase College, where he finished 6-8 at the plate on the day with three RBIs and two stolen bases.
2018: Saw time in six games for Maritime during his first year with the Privateers…made his collegiate debut and scored a run during the team’s Florida trip against Lebanon Valley (3/8)…was 1-for-1 in his only bat of the season in the opener versus Yeshiva (3/16)…scored the game-winning run in extra innings against Manhattanville (4/10)…scored his third run of the season as a pinch runner against Old Westbury (4/28).

High School: Graduated from Midwood High School in Brooklyn, New York in 2017….played four seasons of varsity baseball for the Hornets…was a member of the 2016 PSAL Championship baseball team as a junior…won the team gold glove award as both a junior and senior…hit .429 as a senior with a .522 on-base percentage and a .571 slugging percentage as a senior…was also a member of the bowling team for one season in high school.
Personal: Son of Rachel and Hadley Eng…has one brother; Brandon…plans to graduate with a degree in Mechanical Engineering while at Maritime and also plans to earn his U.S. Coast Guard Engine License.
