High School: Graduated from Kellenberg Memorial High School in 2015 … was a member of the Firebird Swimming and Diving team while in high school while finishing second in the league as both a sophomore and senior … finished third in the league during his junior season … was a part of the 200 Medley Relay team that set a program record of 1:43.50 … selected as a team captain as a senior … named team Most Improved Player as a junior … also swam for the Maria Regina CYO Sea Devils, Wantagh Waves, and Bethpage Barracuda club programs.
 
Personal: Son of Kahleen and John J. Accetta … has three siblings; Kaitlin, Rachel and Michael … is planning to earn his degree in Marine Engineering while earning his U.S. Coast Guard Engine License.
