High School: Graduated from the Mary Louis Academy in Jamaica Estates, New York in 2013 … swam for four seasons with the Hilltoppers … was a member of the 3rd place teams from 2009-12 … won the scholar-athlete award and also received the four-year career award … qualified for the New York State YMCA Championship with the Flushing Flyers in both 2011 and 2013 ... helped the Flyers continue their dominance of championship runs that still continues since her departure.
Personal: Daughter of Anne and Daniel O’Brien … is majoring in Marine Environmental Science while at Maritime and is also minoring in Marine Biology … plans to work as an environmental officer aboard a cruise ship or work on a research vessel upon graduation.
