High School: Graduted from Cape Helopen High School in Lewes, Delaware in 2014 … was a member of the Viking swimming team from 2011-14 … took part in the 2014 Henlopen Conference Championship team in swimming … was an All-Conference First Team selection his senior year and was an All-Conference Second Team pick his junior campaign … was a team captain his senior season as well … also competed for the Viking spring track team.
 
Personal: Son of Mary Jo and John Dean … has one younger brother, Christopher … is planning to earn his degree in Marine Transportation while studying at Maritime … plans to become a river pilot upon graduation.
