2026 Schedule

THROGGS NECK, NY – The Maritime College cross country team has announced its 2026 schedule.  The Privateers will participate in seven meets, all of which will take place in New York State.  Maritime begins the campaign at the Adelphi Invitational from Bethpage State Park on Sept. 4.

After the season opener, the Privateers head to the Purchase College Invitational on Sept. 12.  Maritime then has a week off before the Golden Eagle Invitational on Sept. 26.  That race is being held at Stony Brook University, the same venue as this year's Skyline Conference Championships.  The following weekend, the Privateers make the short trip to Van Cortlandt Park for the Queensborough Invitational on Oct. 4.

Maritime wraps up the regular season on Oct. 17 with the St. Joseph's LI Invitational at Sunken Meadow State Park.  The Skyline Championships, meanwhile, are set for Oct. 25 at Stony Brook University.  The Privateer women finished third at the Skyline Championships last year, and Cindy Chen (Huntington Station, NY) was named Second Team All-Skyline after placing 11^th individually.  The men's squad took fifth at the conference meet in 2025.

On Nov. 7, Maritime concludes its campaign with a trip to the Hudson Valley Sports Dome in Milton, NY for the annual ECAC North Championships.  At the 2025 ECAC North Championships, the Privateer men were fifth and the women's team ended up on the podium in third place.
