THROGGS NECK, NY – With the threat of inclement weather this weekend, the schedule for the Skyline Conference Baseball Tournament has been adjusted.  The double elimination round has been moved up a day, and the second-seeded Maritime College baseball team's (21-14, 16-4 Skyline) opening game against third-seeded St. Joseph's LI (21-18, 16-4 Skyline) will now be played on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy's Bartoszek Field.

The remainder of the tournament will be hosted by Farmingdale, the No. 1 seed.  The Privateers will face either Farmingdale or Merchant Marine on Friday, depending on Thursday's results.  Game times on Friday are 12 p.m. and 3 p.m., with the elimination contest set for 6 p.m.  The championship will be on Saturday, weather permitting, or Sunday.
