THROGGS NECK, NY – Junior Nicholas Cunha (Red Bank, NJ) of the Maritime College sailing team has been selected to the 2025-26 Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) All-Academic Team.  To be named to the ICSA All-Academic Team, sailors must be a junior or senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher and have participated in seven regattas as either a competitor or alternate across the Fall and Spring seasons.

Cunha was a regular in the Privateers' rotation throughout the 2025-26 campaign.  He took part in five events during the Fall, sailing primarily with Luke Barker (Rocky River, OH).  Cunha also served as an alternate at several other competitions.
