THROGGS NECK, NY – The Skyline Conference has announced its All-Sportsmanship Team for the Spring 2026 season. Maritime College's
Mia Brandenstein (women's lacrosse),
Kymani McDonald (men's lacrosse) and
Ralph Passantino (baseball) were honored for "upholding the conference's commitment to sportsmanship and fair play."
A four-year starter and team captain, Brandenstein moved from defense to midfield this season and led the Privateers with 29 ground balls while also contributing nine goals and 31 draw controls in 11 games. McDonald played a key role in Maritime's first Skyline Conference championship since 2022. He saw action in 10 contests as a long-stick midfielder, contributing to a defensive unit that allowed just 7.33 goals per game against conference foes. Passantino was a valuable utility piece off the bench, making appearances in right field, at catcher, and as the designated hitter, along with several pinch-hit at-bats. He also served as a bullpen catcher throughout the season.
All-Sportsmanship Team honorees are selected by their head coaches. The full All-Sportsmanship Team is made up of the individual school nominees from each sport.
