THROGGS NECK, NY – On Wednesday night, the Maritime College women's soccer team concluded its 2025 season by hosting Farmingdale. The Rams (8-9-3, 7-2-2 Skyline) used an eight-goal first half to notch a 9-0 victory over the Privateers (5-9-0, 3-8-0 Skyline) at Reinhart Field.
Farmingdale got on the board just 4:29 into the contest and increased its advantage to 6-0 in the 17
th minute. The Rams added two more tallies 22 seconds apart late in the first half to take an 8-0 lead into the break. Farmingdale picked up another goal in the second half before Maritime had its best scoring chance of the game.
Madeline Powers (Atlantic Beach, NY) went on a breakaway down the middle, but her shot was blocked, preserving the Rams' shutout.
Nine different players found the back of the net for Farmingdale, with Kayla Mendez, Alyse Rivera and Katelyn Nunziato each notching a goal and an assist. Kelsie Feingold (3-1-1) played the first half in goal and was credited with the win. Privateers goalkeeper
Estela Quintero (Oceanside, NY) (5-9-0) made 19 saves, her seventh time reaching double figures this year.
Eva Garcia (Rockville Centre, NY) finished the season with 11 goals, third-most in the Skyline Conference.
Ava Morrill (New Windsor, NY), meanwhile, became the all-time program leader with 19 career assists.
