THROGGS NECK, NY – The Maritime College Department of Athletics is pleased to welcome back fans at full capacity for all indoor home events during the 2021-22 winter sports season.  In order to ensure the safety of all participants and spectators, Maritime is implementing a vaccination policy that will apply at all men's basketball games and swim meets inside Riesenberg Gymnasium, effective immediately.

In accordance with New York City and New York State guidelines, all spectators 12 and older are REQUIRED to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and prepared to show proof of vaccination.  Fans under the age of 12, who only recently became eligible for the vaccine, do not need to be fully vaccinated.  Spectators are also reminded that mask-wearing is mandatory inside the facility at all times, regardless of vaccination status.

Maritime College remains committed to the health and safety of its student-athletes, coaches, staff and fans.  These policies are subject to change pending updated guidance from the city and/or state.
