Box Score BROOKLYN, N.Y. (September 28, 2013) - The Maritime women's soccer team shut out the NYU-Poly Blue Jays on Saturday evening by the score of 1-0 to pick up its first Skyline Conference win of the season.

Senior forward Jorrie Trenkamp (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) scored the lone goal for the Privateers on a breakaway. The goal was her 14th of the season, and 67th of her career.

In goal, sophomore Kristen Hoar (Buffalo, N.Y./Kenmore East) picked up her 5th shutout of the season as she improves her record to 7-2 on the season.

Maritime (7-3, 1-1 Skyline) will get right back to action when it hosts the Canton Kangaroos at 12 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. NYU-Poly (2-5, 0-2 Skyline) will have the next week off and return to the pitch against Mount St. Mary in Newburgh, N.Y. next Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
