The Maritime women's soccer team heads on the road to Tibbett's Brook Park in Yonkers, N.Y. as the squad opens up Skyline Conference play this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

The Privateers enter off of a victory on Wednesday evening over the Briarcliffe Bulldogs by the score of 3-0. In the game, senior Jorrie Trenkamp (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) scored twice and Amy Hansen (Greenwich, Conn./Greenwich ) picked up her second of the season. In goal, sophomore Kristen Hoar (Buffalo, N.Y./Kenmore East) picked up her third shutout win of the season while making six saves against the Bulldogs.

Mount St. Vincent enters as winners of three of its last four contests, with the lone loss coming on Wednesday evening in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. against the King's (Pa.) Monarchs. The Dolphins were only able to muster one shot against a tough Monarch defense, while goalie Kelly Hilly made nine saves and allowed the only goal of the match in the 68th minute.

All-Time Series
Maritime is 1-4-2 all-time against the Dolphins with the one win coming in overwhelming fashion in 2009 by a 9-0 score. More recent, the Dolphins bested the Privateers last season on Reinhart Field by a 4-0 score on October 3.

The Privateers welcome in the Screaming Eagles of Saint Elizabeth on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Last year the two teams played a back-and-forth affair in the season opener, which ended 3-2 in favor of Saint Elizabeth.

Mount St. Vincent continues its three-game home stand with a non-conference game on Monday evening at 7 p.m. The Old Westbury Panthers wrap up the home series on September 29.
