        PURCHASE, N.Y. (Sept. 28, 2012) – The Maritime women's soccer team lost on the road Friday night to Skyline Conference opponent Purchase College, 5-0, at the Panthers' Turf Field. The defeat drops the Privateers to 0-10 (0-3 Skyline), while Purchase improves to 4-4 (3-0 Skyline).
 
        Freshman Marykate McGee led the Panthers with two goals, while classmates Samantha Secord and Kristen Condosta and sophomore Cat Viscardi each found the back of the net. For Maritime, sophomore Addyson Vignola (Kings Park, N.Y./Kings Park) (Northport, N.Y./Kings Park) recorded the Privateers' lone shot on goal of the night.
 
        Maritime freshman goalkeeper Meghin Paczkowski (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) (Oceanside, N.Y./Oceanside) registered seven saves on the night.
 
        The Privateers return to action on Monday, Oct. 1, when they travel to Brooklyn to take on York College (N.Y.). Game time is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Aviator Sports and Events Center on Flatbush Ave.
