Complete 2011 Maritime Women's Soccer Schedule
THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (Sept. 1, 2011) – The SUNY Maritime women's soccer team kicks off the 2011 season on Thursday against former Skyline Conference foe Yeshiva University. The game will take place at 8 p.m. on Reinhart Field, with the Maccabees as the home team for the contest.
Inside The Series
The two teams have met once in each of the past four seasons, with Maritime coming away with the victory in each game. In last year's meeting, the Privateers won, 8-1, here in Throggs Neck. Then-sophomore Jorrie Trenkamp (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) scored five goals to lead the way for Maritime.
