THROGS NECK, NY - Despite heavy rains on Friday afternoon, the Privateers went on the road and defeated Brooklyn College 4-0 on the neutral Kingsborough Community College field.  The win brought the Privateers to 2-1 on the season.

Senior Mayer Nelson (Poughkeepsie, NY/Arlington) (Poughkeepsie, NY/Arlington) notched two goals in the game, as well as an assist.  William Smith (Southold, N.Y./Southold) (Southold, NY) and John Blunden (Arlington, VA/Washington) also scored for the Privateers who recorded 13 shotsfor the game. 

Harris Papson (Flushing, N.Y./Francis Lewis) (Flushing, NY/Francis Lewis) played the entire game in goal, saving all 8 shots he saw.  It was the second shutout posted by Papson this season.

The Privateers will be on the road again tomorrow facing the Bloodhounds of John Jay College.
