THROGGS NECK, NY - The men's lacrosse team picked up their 10th victory of the season with an 18-10 win over rival King's Point on the road.  The Privateers are now 10-3 with one more regular season game to play.  USMMA dropped to 8-7 overall.

Despite a 4-2 deficit after the first quarter, the Privateers were able to build an 8-6 lead heading into the half, scoring the 6 of the final 8 goals.  Maritime outscored their opponent 6-2 in the second, and came out just as hot in the third, outscoring the Mariners 8-3 in the third.

The 16-9 lead going into the final quarter proved to be plenty, as the Privateers gave up only 1 goal in the final quarter.  Colin Gallagher (Minneapolis, Minn./Westhill) (Syracuse, NY/Westhill) recorded his 9th victory of the season, making 10 saves for the evening.
