THROGGS NECK, NY - The Maritime Baseball team lost at Kings Point on Tuesday 20-8 in 8 innings.  The game was called early due to darkness.  The Privateers stand at 5-15 on the season.

Greg Oliva (Seaford, N.Y./Seaford) (Seaford, NY/Seaford) went 2-5 in the game, while driving in 5 of Maritime's 8 runs.  Matthew Cresswell (Commack, NY/Commack) (Commack, NY/Commack) drove in two runs on a 1-3 performance on the afternoon.  Each player had a double in the game.

Kevin Fay (Sterling, Va./Potomac Falls) (Sterling, VA/Potomac Falls) was on the mound for the loss, giving up 11 hits and 9 runs in 3.2 innings. 

The Privateers will be at home on Saturday against Purchase College for a conference double header.  The first pitch will be thrown at 10:00 a.m.
