Women's Lacrosse Blanked by Kean University

UNION, NJ- Maritime's women's lacrosse team was defeated by Kean University in a Skyline Conference match-up on April 12 at Kean Alumni Field in Union, NJ by a score of 18-0.

Maritime went 1-for-17 in draw controls, which severely limited their offensive attack and the team managed to get only 6 shots off during the game.  Sophomore Meagan Golden (Point Pleasant, N.J./Point Pleasant) (Point Pleasant, NJ/ Point Pleasant) faced a barrage of shots from the Kean attack and came up with 6 saves during the game.  Sophomore Elizabeth Tavolaro (Broadalbin, N.Y./Broadalbin-Perth ) (Broadalbin, NY/ Broadalbin-Perth) led the team with 2 shots and 2 ground balls.

The Privateers conclude their season with a Skyline Conference game against Farmingdale State on April 16 at 5:00pm.
