Box Score

With both keepers too injured to play and a shortened roster due to other player's injuries, the Privateer women's soccer squad knew it was going to be a tough game ahead of them.  Despite their hard work and persistance, it was not enough to keep St. Elizabeth from overcoming them in a 5-0 loss on Monday, September 10.  Maritime's record now falls to 0-4-0.

Meaghan Golden (Point Pleasant, NJ/Point Pleasant) stepped up to play keeper for Maritime, recording over 30 saves in the 2 halves.  Although Maritime was first to get on the scoreboard less than 15 minutes into the game, the goal was called back due to a foul and the Privateers were unable to be dangerous in the box for the rest of the game.

After playing 4 games in the last 6 days, the squad will finally have some time to rest and recover from the injuries that have plagued the team before their next game which opens the Skyline Conference play at Mt. Saint Vincent on September 22, 2007.
