Women's Lacrosse falls to Farmingdale

Throggs Neck, NY – Freshman midfielder Heather Christiansen (Baldwin, N.Y./Baldwin) (Baldwin, NY/Baldwin) scored the Privateers lone goal in a tough loss to future conference rival Farmingdale State in women’s lacrosse action Monday night at Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, NY.
 
Freshman midfielder Jennifer Jung (New Hyde Park, NY/New Hyde Park) led Farmingdale with five goals, and senior attack Natalie Budinich (East Northport, NY/Commack) added four goals and three assists in the victory.
 
Junior keeper Janine Forman (N. Massapequa, NY/Plainedge) made five saves in net for Farmingdale, while senior Nicole Rosario (Massapequa, NY/Kellenberg) (Massapequa, NY/Kellenberg) made 13 saves for the Privateers.
 
The Privateers return home on Tuesday, April 17 for their final game of the 2007 season, when they face Centenary College in a game originally scheduled to be played at Centenary. The start time is set for 8:00 p.m. following a softball doubleheader, weather pending.
