Donald Toby (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside) (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside) added three assists to lead the Privateers over the Dolphins of the College of Mount Saint Vincent 12-4 in a men’s lacrosse Skyline Conference game on a cold Wednesday night at Reinhart Field in Throggs Neck, NY.
Sophomore
Matt Reardon (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) started things off for the Privateers with an unassisted goal seven minutes into the first period. He finished the game with two goals, the first two of his Maritime career. Junior midfielder
Tom Freeman (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) (New Rochelle, NY/New Rochelle) scored two goals and an assist, while five other Privateers each contributed a goal.
Junior attack Jason Reynolds (Centereach, NY/Newfield) scored three of the Dolphins four goals, two with a man advantage. Junior attack Stan Wong (Merrick, NY/Calhoun) assisted two of Reynolds' goals.
Sophomore keeper
Joseph Fasano (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) (Bethpage, NY/Bethpage) picked up his second win of the season, giving up four goals and making six saves. Junior
Thomas Egan (Nanuet, NY/Nanuet) made 19 saves and allowed 12 goals for the Dolphins.
The Privateers will finish up a three game home stand on Friday, March 9 when they host the Lakers of Oswego State at 7:00pm.
