Farmingdale, NY – Sophomore guard Joseph Bracaglia (Jamaica, N.Y./Martin Van Buren) (Jamaica, NY/Martin Van Buren) tied a career high of 21 points Wednesday night during a 100-68 loss to the defending Skyline Conference Champion Rams of Farmingdale State in men’s basketball action from the Walter A. Lynch Sports Center in Farmingdale, NY.

 

Sophomore forward Timothy Dougherty (Fresh Meadows, NY/St. Francis Prep) led all scorers with 23 points, while sophomore guard Kenneth Kelly (Belle Harbor, N.Y./Archbishop Molloy) (Belle Harbor, NY/Archbishop Molloy) added 10 points to round out the scoring for the Privateers.

 

Farmingdale guard Damien Santana (Brooklyn, NY/Grady) led the charge with a team high 17 points and got help from junior forward Tom Canning (Oak Beach, N.Y./Babylon) who added 15 points in the winning effort.  

 

The Privateers return home on Saturday, February 10, when they host the Cyclones of Centenary College for a 3:00 p.m. game. This will be the second meeting of the two teams, last time they faced, the Privateers walked out of Hackettstown, NJ with an 85-72 overtime victory.
