Purchase, NY – Junior forward Michael Stolberg (Bayside, N.Y./Holy Cross) (Bayside, NY/Holy Cross) scored a team high 17 points and pulled down nine rebounds during an 80-55 loss to the Valiants of Manhattanville College in men’s basketball action Saturday evening in Purchase, NY.

 

Sophomore guard Joseph Bracaglia (Jamaica, N.Y./Martin Van Buren) (Jamaica, NY/Martin Van Buren) scored 14 points on 4-of-6 shooting, while sophomore forward Timothy Dougherty (Fresh Meadows, NY/St. Francis Prep) added 12 points and nine rebounds for the Privateers.

 

Junior guard Cody Moffet (Broklyn, NY) was the leader for the Valiants with 17 points seven rebounds. Senior guard John DiBetta (Valhalla, NY), junior guard Donte Chisolm (Mount Vernon, NY) and sophomore forward Justin Morris (West Haven, CT) each added 11 points in the victory.

 

The Privateers return to action on Monday, February 05 when they travel to Kings Point, NY to face the Mariners of the Merchant Marine Academy at 7:00 p.m.
