Men's Soccer Drops Final Regular Season Game; Will Host First Round

THROGGS NECK, NY - The SUNY Maritime men's soccer team fell to St. Joseph's 5-0 in the final Skyline game of the season.  The Privateers stand at 12-7 (7-2), third place in the conference standings.

The Privateer offense struggled all afternoon, taking only 8 shots, 4 of which were on goal.  Matthew Kavanaugh (Penfield, NY/Penfield) gave up three goals and made 2 saves before being replaced by Harris Papson (Flushing, N.Y./Francis Lewis) (Flushing, NY/Francis Lewis) who made 7 saves and gave up 2 goals.

The Privateers will host the quarterfinals on Tuesday, October 30th at 7:15.  Maritime will host Mount Saint Mary', whom they defeated on the road 2-1 earlier in the season.
