Box Score ANNANDALE-ON-HUDSON, NY- A limited bench and strong opponent hurt Maritime's opportunities in their Skyline Conference game versus Bard College on Saturday. Bard defeated the Privateers 9-0, improving their record to 9-4-1 (5-2-0) while Maritime's record fell to 2-10-0 (2-5-0).
Once again, Andria Thornton (Saugerties, N.Y./Saugerties) (Saugerties, NY/ Saugerties) was outstanding in net for the Privateers but with the absence Maritime's starting sweeper, it was not enough to hold off the onslaught of the Raptor's offense.
Maritime's next game will be played at Reinhart Field on Wednesday, October 24, at 5:00 pm against Skyline Conference newcomers Russell Sage College.
