Throggs Neck, NY – Competing in their second team race of the season, the Privateer sailing team had an impressive showing, finishing third out of eight teams. Team scores were based off of only the first round robin of races due to the cancellation of the second day of competition because of an extreme low tide. On the first day, winds gusts ranged from 12-18 knots from the south west and dyed down late in the day to 4-6 knots. Following ICSA Procedural Rules, the four-way tie was broken using the results from the 12 races of the second round robin that were completed on Saturday.
