Castine, ME – Junior forward Justen Price (Yonkers, NY/Lincoln) scored a game high 14 points in his Maritime debut during a close 55-53 loss to Maine Maritime in the first game of the Maritime Classic hosted by Maine Maritime in Castine, ME.

 

The Privateers had two finish with double-digits, Price and junior guard Lamar Fields (Bronx, NY/Rice) who scored 11 points and had nine boards in his debut. Sophomore Timothy Dougherty (Fresh Meadows, NY/Saint Francis Prep) added eight points and six boards for the Privateers.

 

Maine Maritime was led by junior center Brandon Hall (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) who finished with 12 points and nine boards while junior forward Adam Haskill (Winslow, ME) was the only other Mariner to score in double figures with 11 points and added seven rebounds.

 

The Privateers will compete on Saturday, November 18 against California Maritime in the second game of the Maritime Basketball Classic.
