James Spanopolous has been chosen as the Male Athlete of the Week for the week ending 9/7. The Freshman running back carried the ball 32 times for a total of 142 yards. He averaged 4.4 yards a carry, had a long rush of 13 yards, and scored once for the Privateers. Maritime football won the 2nd annual Chowder Bowl 24-14 against Mass. Maritime.
