Maritime men's swimming rookie Brian Day (Paramus, NJ/ Paramus) has been selected as the Privateer Male Athlete of the Week. Day had two first place finishes (500-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle relay) and one second place finish (1000-yard freestyle) in Maritime's victory over Mount St. Marys College. He was also named the Skyline Conference Rookie of the Week for his accomplishments.
