Senior Julianna Avitto of the women's soccer team was named Skyline Confernece Player of the Week as announced by the conference on Monday afternoon. Avitto became the first Privateer to earn the distinction since the 2013 season, when Jorrie Trenkamp '14 earned the accolade on September 30.

Avitto scored half of Maritime's eight goals a week ago, as she tallied two goals and added two assists in the team's conference-opening victory against Yeshiva last Monday. She followed that up with another two-goal performance, including the game-winning goal in double overtime against Saint Elizabeth on Saturday afternoon.
