Junior Anthony D'Ancona of the Maritime baseball team got the start for the Privateers against No. 10 Shenandoah in the team's opening game of the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regionals.

D'Ancona tossed 7 2/3 innings to keep the Hornets at bay through the majority of the game as he held the opponents to just five runs in the team's 5-3 loss. On the game he struck out two batters as he needed 108 pitches to get through his outing.
