Maritime junior Patrick MacDonald of the basketball team became the 13th Privateer to record 1,000 career points on Saturday as he recorded his 14th double-double of the season in the team's win over Mount St. Mary.

In addition to MacDonald's point total, he also recorded 15 rebounds to give him a season total of 261 boards to set a new single-season record in modern program history. He also moved into second place on the all-time rebounds list, as he crossed over the 628 mark for his three seasons with the team.
