Freshman Emily Zink of the Maritime Swimming Team helped the team kick off 2016 with a Skyline Conference win over the St. Joseph's (Bklyn) Bears on Friday evening.

Zink won all three events she participated in, including two individual events. In the 200 Individual Medley she posted a 13-second win with a time of 2:36.54, then followed that up with a win in the 100 Breaststroke as she came to the wall with a time of 1:19.51 for a nine-second win.

She started the night off helping Maritime to a win in the 200 Medley Relay, as the quartet picked up a two-second win with a time of 2:11.50.
