Senior Matthew Sollin of the Maritime baseball team put together a strong week for the Privateers as he collected a .500 batting average, going 9-for-18 at the plate during the team's three-win week.

In addition to his .500 batting average, Sollin scored seven runs and had a pair of RBIs, while also collecting two triples and led the team with 13 total bases.

For the week, he had a slugging percentage of .722, while collecting an on-base percentage of .571 as he also walked three times on the week.

Sollin also made his long-awaited collegiate pitching debut and did not disappoint as he struck out one batter and did not allow a run in the team's 8-1 win over Vaughn on Saturday.
