Maritime College Athletics

Senior Chris Whalen helped the Maritime dinghy sailing team to its first win of the spring season as the Privateers finished with the Admiral Moore Team Race title at McMurray Hall this past weekend.

Whalen was a part of the team that won 15 of its 18 head-to-head races with the team holding off Hobart/William Smith, who finished one win behind the Privateers. Maritime finished in first place amongst a field of 10 teams this weekend and will take next weekend off before travelling to Kings Point on April 11-12 for the Captain Prosser Trophy.
