Senior Trevor Cannella on Saturday afternoon became the second Privateer in the span of a month to pitch a no-hitter this season, and second to do so in team modern history (2005-present).

Cannella set down 21 batters in Saturday's action against St. Joseph's without giving up a hit. In addition to his seven hitless innings on Saturday against St. Joseph's, Cannella worked a no-hit inning against NYU-Poly on Wednesday evening. Dating back to his previous outing, Cannella has not allowed a hit in 9 2/3 consecutive innings.

With his efforts over the week, Cannella was named Skyline Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday afternoon. He was also been named ECAC Metro Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday evening, and also the NCBWA Division III National Pitcher of the Week.
