Wasson was named the Skyline Conference Female Runner of the Week after she led the Maritime women in the 5K race with a time of 23:16 and finished in 15th place out of 129 runners at the Mount Saint Mary Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 4, in Newburgh, N.Y. The Rockville Centre, N.Y., native has paced the Privateers in all four races thus far in 2009 and it this is the third time this season that she has received a weekly honor from the Skyline Conference. She was named to the weekly honor roll on Sept. 28 and Sept. 14.
