NEW YORK, N.Y. (September 23, 2013) – The Skyline Conference released its weekly awards for the seventh week of the season with Maritime represented by a pair of players as both senior Jorrie Trenkamp (Tabernacle, N.J./Seneca) and freshman Marisa Athan (Mineola, N.Y./Mineola) were selected to the league honor roll.

Trenkamp is currently second in the nation in scoring with 20 goals this season, as she added three goals this week on 10 shots in a pair of conference games against Purchase on Wednesday and Old Westbury on Friday. First against the Panthers, Trenkamp had a pair of goals to both tie the game after the halftime break then scored the next goal as her seventh game-winning goal of the season. Trenkamp also leads the league in shots, goals and points by a comfortable margin in each category.

Athan picks up her second recognition as a member of the Skyline Honor Roll this season after earning the same honors during the second week of the season. This week, Athan had a goal and an assist against Purchase on Wednesday evening, and then followed that up with an assist on Friday's game against Old Westbury. For the season, Athan has three goals and three assists on the season which places her in a tie for second on the team with nine points on the year.

Maritime (8-5, 2-2 Skyline) will resume non-conference play tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. when the York (N.Y.) Cardinals visit Reinhart Field.
