THROGGS NECK,, N.Y. (Nov. 8, 2012) – The Skyline Conference announced on Thursday that after two postponements due to inclement weather, the Skyline Championship Meet has been rescheduled for next Thursday, Nov. 15. The event will be hosted by Mount St. Mary College at Chadwick Lake Park up in Newburgh, N.Y.
The first race of the day will be the Women's 5K and that will begin at 1 p.m. It will be followed by the Men's 8K race, which is slated to start at 1:45 p.m.
The Privateer men are looking to capture their first Skyline Championship since 2007 after finishing the past three seasons as the runner-up. On the women's side, the team is coming off its best finish in the short history of the program last year, when the squad placed third.
Both the men's and women's teams will be in action this Saturday, Nov. 10, when they will travel up to Rochester, N.Y., to take part in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Meet, hosted by the University of Rochester at Genesee Valley Park.
