        NEWBURGH, N.Y. (Nov. 15, 2012) – The Skyline Conference held the 2012 Championship Meet on Thursday, hosted by Mount St. Mary College at Chadwick Lake Park. Maritime freshman Cameron Coneys (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) (Centerport, N.Y./Harborfields) was the individual champion of the men's 8K race with a time of 28:04.52. He helped lead the Privateers men to a second-place finish at the event, just behind conference champion St. Joseph's.
 
        Coneys also earned a spot on the All-Skyline Cross Country First Team with the first-place finish. Senior Luke Milano (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh) (Wantagh, N.Y./Wantagh) was second on the squad, coming in eighth place in 29:46.60, while his classmate, Gabriel Rosa (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./G.A.R. Memorial) (Wilkes-Barre, Pa./G.A.R. Memorial) placed 10th with a time of 29:55.00. Senior Matt Taraboletti (Titusville, Fla./Astronaut) was the fourth Maritime runner to cross the finish line. He came in 14th place in 30:40.60. Milano, Rosa and Taraboletti each earned a spot on the All-Skyline Second Team.
 
        Sophomore Dillon Otten (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ward) (Fairfield, Conn./Fairfield Ward) rounded out the scoring for the Privateers with an 18th place finish in 31:02.45.
 
        On the women's side, just junior Jackie Bellisari (Albertson, N.Y./Holy Trinity) (Albertson, N.Y./Holy Trinity) ran in the 5k race and she placed 10th with a time of 21:50.96. That was good for a spot on the All-Skyline Second Team.
