The 40day consisted of wind, sun, a strong current and 17 events. The 2000 meter sprint from bridge to bridge along Kelly Drive proved to be a challenge for the privateers.

The privateer men's varsity four raced at 11AM in 1 of 4 heats in lane 6 against Lafayette, Loyola, Fairfield, Susquehanna, and Pittsburg. The varsity four consisted of Justin Alsdorf (4 seat), Pary Palanisamy (3 seat), Mike Marone (2 seat), Mike Hyland (1 Seat) and Moira Kelly (Coxswain).

Racing at 1PM in 1 of 3 heats were the Men's Novice 4 in lane 1 against Temple, Delaware, Penn State and Susquehanna. The novice four finished nearly 15 seconds behind the varsity four. The boat consisted of Justin Alsdorf (4 seat), Russell Steube (3 seat), Mike Marone (2 seat), Ricky Damiano (1 seat) and Moira Kelly (Coxswain). The men's crew team has seen better days in their racing and hopes to better their abilities in time for the next regatta.  Next weekend's, Manhattan College Invitational Regatta, gives the crew team another chance and high hopes.
