Tomalo finishes fifth at RWU Invitational

Throggs Neck, NY – Junior Craig Tomalo (Lacey Township, NJ/Lacey Township) made his return to competition this past weekend after missing the entire 2005-06 season with a shoulder injury, finishing fifth with a 5-2 record in the 184-pound weight division at the Roger Williams Invitational in Bristol, RI.
Also making his return after missing a majority of last season was junior Adam Miller (Oceanside, NY/Oceanside) who had a productive day, finishing with a 4-2 record. Tomalo defeated Alex Whitney of Norwich 3-2 to earn fifth place and his fifth win, while freshman Joe Casaletto earned his first collegiate victory finishing 1-2.
The Privateers return to action on Saturday, November 18 when they travel to Oneonta, NY for the annual Red Dragon Tournament hosted by Oneonta State University.
