THROGGS NECK, N.Y. (March 15, 2010) – The Maritime men's volleyball team lost to Lehman College, 3-1, on Saturday at the Riesenberg Hall Gymnasium. The scores of the match were 30-25, 22-30, 31-29 and 30-28. With the loss, the Privateers fall to 1-2 on the season, while the Lightning improve to 13-8.

 

Brendan Hanley (Ft. Lauderdale, Fla./Cardinal Gibbons/UCF) led the way for Maritime with 15 kills on the day, while recording three blocks and three service aces. Stephen Eugino finished with eight kills, a team-high seven blocks and two aces, while Madison Leary (Tavares, Fla./Tavares) contributed seven kills, five blocks and three aces.

 

The Privateers return to action on Thurs., March 18, when they play host to City College at 7 p.m.
