Throggs Neck, NY – The Maritime College wrestling team closed out their regular season on Tuesday evening with a victory against Yeshiva and a tough loss against Hunter. The match against Hunter came down to the final weight class, which ended up being 125. Heading into that match, Hunter held a 24-22 lead, and following a pin would end up with the 30-22 win. Throggs Neck, NY – Junior Brian Ochs (Sayville, NY/Sayville) had an incredible showing this past weekend, demolishing the competition with two major decisions and one tech fall in four matches against some of the best wrestlers on the east coast. Ochs’ only loss on the day came against a Division I grappler, Matthew DeNichilo of Princeton University.
