The match against Hunter came down to the final weight class, which ended up being 125. Heading into that match, Hunter held a 24-22 lead, and following a pin would end up with the 30-22 win. Ochs’ only loss on the day came against a Division I grappler, Matthew DeNichilo of Princeton University. The Privateers were forced to give up two matches with senior Ben Towers unable to wrestle in the 197 weight class and the team lacking anyone to compete at 141. However, the Privateers did pick up one forfeit win at 125 as Ian Mullins once again receives credit for the win.
