O'Hara Promoted to Head Wrestling Coach

Throggs Neck, NY – Jason O'Hara, a five-year assistant coach for the Maritime College wrestling team, has been promoted to head coach by Director of Athletics Dr. William E. Martinov, Jr.
 
O'Hara, a 2000 graduate of Western New England College, was a four-year starter and co-captain of the Golden Bears wrestling team under hall of fame coach Bob Skelton. He has served as the top assistant coach for the Privateer wrestling team since 2001.
 
A New Jersey native, O'Hara was a three-year varsity letter winner for the Vernon Township High School wrestling team and was a member of the 1994 Group 4 Sectional State Championship team. O'Hara currently works full-time as a Project Manager for the Heritage Millwork Corporation in Perth Amboy, NJ.
 
O'Hara currently resides in Hamburg, NJ with his wife Charla and their son Bryce.
