Throggs Neck, NY – Freshman wrestler Mike Dushane (West Springfield, MA/West Springfield) earned his first collegiate victory after pinning senior Jason Schwitzer of Yeshiva University leading the Privateers to a 54-6 win over the Maccabees on Wednesday, November 30th at Maritime College.

 

Also picking up big wins were sophomore Chase Crawford (Mandeville, LA/Brother Martin) (Mandeville, LA/Brother Martin) and junior Brian Ochs (Sayville, NY/Sayville) (Sayville, NY/Sayville). Crawford scored the pin just 1:48 into the match at the 141 weight class, while Ochs pinned his opponent 1:09 into the match. Ochs is now 7-4 on the year while Crawford improves to 2-2.

 

Now the Privateers will head to NYU on Saturday, December 3^rd for what will prove to be a tough day against some of the best teams on the east coast.
